So, what does Touch, No-Touch even mean? Well, pertaining to insurance, it can mean the difference between a safe appointment and a not-so-safe appointment. Even in times of pandemic, folks are still turning 65 and retiring from their jobs, and need to enroll into Medicare plans. But which plan? What will it cover? Where can I use it? How much will it cost? How can I find out what plan is best for me? Who is going to help me? Help!
Not so long ago, folks invited insurance agents to come into their homes to hear about Medicare plans; or, they attended a community educational or sales meeting, where an agent presented information about Medicare in general and Medicare insurance plans in a classroom setting style. You could also stop by a retail kiosk located at your favorite pharmacy or food store. Now, all that has changed. Have someone I don’t know come into my home? No way! Attend a meeting with several other people I don’t know? Absolutely no way! Talk to an agent face-to-face at a store? Not gonna happen! Hard to talk standing 6 feet away, isn’t it?
Times have changed and the insurance industry has changed too. We have been busy these last few months looking for safe ways to meet with you and explain what options are available to you, and to help you review your plan options as well as safely enroll you in the plan of your choice. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how quickly the insurance carriers have responded! I know that many Medicare beneficiaries may be apprehensive about “virtual” appointments, but they needn’t be! We can still meet with you in our office (masks on – hard surfaces disinfected regularly); over the phone, send you plan & enrollment information via snail-mail, email information to you, or have you visit a website so that you can click to see plan materials and enroll. We can now even capture your signature thru a phone call! So, whatever makes you feel comfortable in obtaining the information & enrollment materials you need, we can now do it. Choose “Touch” – office visit or retail kiosk with a new protective shield, or “No-Touch” – virtually meet with you via: mail, phone, email or website. The choice is yours!
So call, click or come in today – Touch or No-Touch – you’ll be glad you did!
